How to add a VPN connection

Windows 10

1. On the start menu search for "VPN settings"
2. Click "Add a VPN connection"
   
3. Fileds to fill in:
   • VPN provider > Windows (built-in)
   • Connection name > "Your Company VPN"
   • Server Name or address > "vpn.companydomain.com" (this was probably provided in your ticket by the tech)
   • VPN Type > Automatic
   • Type of sign-in info > User name and password
   • User name (optional) > Everything before @ in your email for username
   • Password > Leave this blank. Sometimes auto-filling this could cause trouble with connecting to VPN
     

Windows 11
